Zamfara: Police kill notorious bandits kingpin, Dan Isuhu, repel attack
In its efforts to rid Zamfara State of terrorism and restore confidence among its citizens, the State Police Command in a joint operation has successfully repelled a fiercely coordinated bandits’ attack on Keta town in Tsafe LGA of the state.
In a statement issued by the Command’s spokesperson, DSP Yazid Abubakar, said a good Samaritan reported that a large number of armed bandits stormed Keta town with the intention of perpetrating their inhumane acts.
In a response, a joint operation comprising PMF, CTU, hunters, and CPG mobilised and engaged the bandits in a fierce gun battle, during which one PMF personnel, four Community Protection Guard members and two hunters made the ultimate sacrifice. Two hunters are currently receiving treatment at the Federal Medical Centre in Gusau, the state capital.
It further revealed that, the operation was successful in neutralising a large number of bandits including the notorious kingpin ‘Dan Isuhu Mudale’, who had been terrorising Tsafe and its environs.
The Zamfara State Police Command reassures the people of the state of its total commitment to restoring peace and urged citizens to report any suspicious behavior to the security agencies for prompt action.
